Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is a famous Irish actress and model. Alison Doody made her feature film debut as an actress and Bond model on the set of A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she appeared as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody played Nazi sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider. The other roles she played include Siobhan Donavan as Charlotte in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) Charlotte in Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery in Major League II (1994). Doody became a model after the opportunity was offered by a hopeful photographer. She has since evolved into commercial modelling. Doody strove to avoid glamorous and sexy roles, that was a rule she applied in her acting. In 1985, following getting noticed by the casting directors of the James Bond new film, Doody took a small part in Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody was named one of 12 Promising New Actors of 1986 by John Willis Screen World, Vol. 38. Doody had just turned 18 when she was given the character of Bond girl. She remains the youngest Bond girl to date. A Prayer for the Dying (1997), starring Mickey Rourke, also featured one of her roles as IRA Siobhan. Doody played the role of Archibald's wife, Lilias In his dream in the television adaptation The Secret Garden. The Storyteller episode from 1988 featured her in the lead part in Sapsorrow and was portrayed by John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. In 1988, she starred as Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most notable performance to date was her role as Austrian Nazi sympathizer as well as archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody is a part of the James Bond family, having been in the film with Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in the film Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Doody was co-starring with Jonathan Pryce, in the British miniseries Selling Hitler. The series was in part inspired by the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Doody then relocated to Hollywood. She was chosen to succeed Cybill Shepherd as the spokeswoman of L'Oreal she went on to play opposite Charlie Sheen in 1994's Major League II in the role of Flannery his agent and girlfriend. Doody played a role in the 2004 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine portrayed her at a ceremony for an award. She was in the film together with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film version to King Solomon's Mines. Doody filming a character in Danny Dyer's 2010 film The Rapture. The Clinic, a medical drama on RTE. The Asphyx was the 2011 version of her film. In 2011 she began the first of two seasons on the E4 comedy show Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. The following year, she appeared as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. She received the Almeria tierra de cinema award on the 21st of November, 2018.
